The USA needs to concentrate on the Western Hemisphere and rebuild its relationship with its Latin American neighbors.
The USA should not get involved in the China Taiwan relationship with military or weaponry assets. And China needs to withdraw from Latin America.
Such is a fair exchange.

Hmmmmm, not entirely convinced that that is how this goes down. I know what you are saying, but President Trump has repeatedly vowed that we WILL DEFEND Taiwan. He is not one to break agreements. I think its more like, if China wants special US agreements (since we hold the cards) Taiwan is off the table during his administration. Orrrrrr, tarriffs stay in place, oil stays at full market value, and deals just might get blocked. No, I don’t think China holds more than a “straight”, while Trump holds a “royal Flush”. They need our purchase power. Trump brought our industry home. We’re not looking to get into China. We were already there. And they stole our technology. This time around , We’re looking to make them work for our burgeoning economy. But thats just my sense of it. Not even mentioning their hand in the fake ballots of 2020 election.

I need more education about what was/is really going on in Taiwan. I am a victim of years of reporting about Taiwan being our ally and we needed to protect it from evil China. Like many other lies I was told, I just have to take another look and remain open. I certainly think your global assessment is right on. Each of these powers will have control of their own back yards. This is a sticky one.
The Abraham accords countries I would think. Once OPEC and the city of london is crushed, makes no difference to America. Let them hash it out between themselves
