The EU countries are really at war with their own, namely Hungary and Slovakia who do not go along with the EU war efforts against Russia. And the NATO countries expected Trump to support Ukraine even though Ukraine is not a NATO nation. Trump knows that NATO serves no purpose any longer, and we do not need to be a part of it, but how do we get out of it if Congress made it impossible for a President to withdraw? At least Trump is showing who our friends are, and the City of London cabal is not one of them.
It cannot come soon enough! I really like the way Trump is reshaping the world towards peace. NATO, and England, especially, work behind the scenes to keep the war machine going. Their reign has come to an end.
I fought in Vietnam as a young Marine Lieutenant against Communist forces. We had SEATO countries such as Australia, New Zealand & South Korea fighting with us.
I stayed in the active Reserves & worked against the Soviets during “the Cold War”.
NATO was helpful but we had large numbers of US Troops in Europe protecting them from Soviet Invasion. I retired before Gulf 1 as a LtColonel . NATO needs a serious evaluation as to the US being involved in totality with Europe.

I think President Trump feels like many of us feel. Insulted. Disrespected. Used. Let them defend their own lands, policies, people. If they’re not willing to step up to even assist with a situation the effects them then why should they reap the benefit of the US military protection? The USA has maintained a force and presence in some countries far beyond what we ever should have to keep them protected after WWII. We rebuilt much of their infrastructures to stand them up to be prosperous nations. We supported them through trade. Its time to let them stand on their own. They know it. It just took Trump to be the leader that said it. Im for leaving NATO and absolutely the UN. We can be friends. We don’t have to be their keepers.
