But when the Swat Teams show up and his Lawyer is sent to the end of the Driveway to stand there for 10 hours in the brutal heat,.....who is going to stop the FBI/Swat team from taking him? Thursday hearing in Reinhart's court to release the unredacted warrant affidavit. As a Magistrate Judge, he was appointed in 2018 through a judicial process. The aggrieved party in Judge Reinhart's ruling has the option to appeal. Looking for info - wonder if any lawfags can clarify which federal court has jurisdiction for the appeal of a federal magistrate judge's ruling. The legaleze has me crosseyed. Is it the US District Court Southern District of Florida or the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit (both in Miami) that would hear the appeal on the ruling.
In any case, Reinhart might issue a Finding of Fact with his order. That in itself would be entertaining. Appeal documents from both parties would be fun, especially when Trump attorneys enumerate the FBI history of malfeasance. Then there are reports of a second warrant, which DOJ wants to keep under seal. How that ended up within the present case documents is a mystery to me. None of this passes the smell test. The DOJ & FBI are incapable of following the law.
