President Trump has been prescient on almost everything he's predicted and subsequently received a lot of loud and very public condemnation and insults from the naysayers. But they rarely ever apologize or admit they were entirely wrong and he was mostly if not entirely right. Ive had the impression fr many decades that NATO was essentially a one-way agreement where we supplied 95% of the defense of Europe and they "contributed" by letting us (defend Europe). I knew NATO grew out of WWII and the MIC's focus on the USSR as the West's new bogeyman, succeeding Nazi Germany. But once Putin got the new Russian Federation under control, that should have been a turning point for the West to welcome Russia into the economic bloc of nations. But the EU of course took a different, more adversarial path.
If PDJT sees no real tangible upside to staying in NATO, I'm completely OK with his decision to terminate the U.S. membership.
Not sure about going up in flames. Remember that the deep state is in every country. Macron said today that Europe has be prepared to defend Ukraine without the US. The push for WWW III is not just here. Europe is running headlong into it and they are going to attempt to draw us in. I believe our battles with the deep state are just beginning. They are NOT defeated just shifting gears with a bit of gear grinding.

I support leaving NATO. I think just like President Trump said about Zelensky, because of our support, the NATO countries have grown belligerent and arrogant toward Russia. They owe Russia a debt, but shun them and taunt them at every opportunity, while cheering on the Middle East and China. Where were they in WWII? Not fighting against Hitler. And why on earth is Germany so revered when they were the cause of BOTH World Wars? That never made sense to me. The European countries need to become more cohesive with their neighbor Russia. If there is a need, Im certain the United States would step forward at that time. But let them try giving Peace a go. They have their European Union. Created to screw us according to President Trump. Zelensky cannot be given a win here. If NATO is his goal, it is because of our involvement. Europe cannot be given a win here. We should not be their security blanket.Jmo
