Nope. No. I'm good with bringing my passport on domestic flights and to the voting booth. I just renewed my CA drivers licence and refused to pay extra for being tracked.
Frankly,
I am astounded (and unnerved) Clandestine by your support of more tagging of humans. This article, and your support of REALID, really weirds me out. Why are you? Are you being paid? If so, by whom?
A weak argument -- just because Dems allow illegals to vote. WtF?
Since when do I change my decision to be tracked because of illegals ????.
Dominion flipped the votes, are you telling me a REAL ID will stop electronic vote flipping? You're not cooking with gas -- preposterous.
Dems ALWAYS CHEAT.
A FIRM NO WAY JOSE, and HIT THE ROAD JACKASS
PS. I ain't tracked everyday -- not in my 20 year old vehicle, don't carry my phone everywhere, don't utilize devices for this very reason I'm not a slave. I refuse to be digitized for a vote.
If it comes to having a REAL ID to vote. I'LL STOP VOTING
Your passport is the best tracking mechanism already in place. So I would not gloat about being under radar I have nothing to hide to worry being tracked. There are more important things for me to worry about. I am willing to trade off your paranoia to stop 2.1 million illegal DLs in New York State alone. Passports are expensive and utterly unnecessary if you don’t travel. For me a major “crime” is NOT to vote thus making your personal contribution to the spread of Dems evil. Choose you battles wisely.
Not tracked unless I choose to be, as in my commenting here right now. Not overheard when I speak outside my home, not tracked by my vehicle. Not tracked when I hike, walk, decline injections and nose swabs.
I reject being fungible. I am the Lord HEAVENLY Fathers child with a soul and free will.
The Real ID Act was passed by Congress in 2005. It proves you are a U.S. citizen. Got mine 6 years ago when I renewed my drivers license. There are additional smaller pictures of you and holograms on your DL, to prevent counterfeiting it or anyone from making fake IDs. That's pretty much all it is. Whatever documentation you used to get your original DL, will be used for Real ID. Birth cert, social security #, proof of address, photo ID etc. Here's every thing you need to know about it.
The 911 Commission - and we all know how shady the 911 "Attack on America" was and the immediate rollout of airport xray machines, pat downs and loss of civil liberties.
And at this point, a joke. The only real purpose for REAL ID right now is to get on an airplane, which 99% used mostly for travel within the continental United States. Which illegal aliens get to do by displaying their deportation papers
If it is not implanted or tattooed and not connetected in any way shape or form to health status or financial status or financial accounts or other private information, I'm sort of ok with it.
REAL ID could become a requirement for participation in American life, and a REAL ID could be used for purposes beyond the original intention, such as controlling gun ownership or marijuana smoking. It could become a necessity for air travel, opening a bank account, collecting Social Security benefits, or participating in other government benefit programs, such as Medicaid. Other commenters wrote that the ID Card could divide the citizenry into those who have the identification card vs. those who do not, with the later group subject to suspicion.
You already have to show a drivers license or other state issued ID to do all the things you just mentioned. You also have to show an ID to buy alcohol, tobacco products, rent a car, rent a hotel room, rent an apt, open a bank account, get a loan of any type, get a mortgage, cash a check, get a credit card, get a gun permit, marriage license, fishing license, library card, child care, passport, vote, enroll in school or college, apply for a job, collect unemployment benefits, VA benefits, fill a prescription, get car insurance, homeowners insurance, health insurance, when you go to a doctor, dentist, or hospital for treatment, go on plane, a cruise, a train. And maybe some others I can't think of at the moment. Real ID is the same thing as your drivers license only with added security features which you have used as an ID your entire life.
Agree on the vaxx passport. Never tested, never vaxxed.
It is being used as proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. You can use a passport as voter ID. Depends on your state. https://www.usa.gov/voter-id
If you are traveling internationally you will still need your passport. If you are traveling domestically, you will only need one valid form of identification – either your REAL ID or another acceptable alternative such as a passport, not both.
It's really just a more secure drivers license that shows you're a US citizen. It's nothing digital as far as facial reconition, fingerprints etc. They can do that now on an Iphone or laptop. lol
I have to take issue with one statement in your post. One statement that is incorrect is that REAL ID establishes citizenship. IT DOES NOT. It does establish that you are legally present in the US . (@Amuse refers to it as establishing legal presence). I believe that, at the beginning, it was intended for such......until the august forefathers authorized the issuance to Green Card holders.
Here in New Hampshire, the Statute controlling aplication for registration to Vote, specifically states that REAL ID cannot be used as proof of citizenship, only a birth certificate (original or notarized) or Passport.
I agree, what I was saying I would be ok with is something like our current voter registration card, something that is not connected to any other information about us. When he was campaigning, RFKjr mentioned having everybody use a Passport instead of DL which I thought was a good idea. MY husband's drivers license expired right before the last election, he was in bad health and could not get another driver's license which you need a current one to vote by mail, which is how he voted the last 12 years due to his health. I was concerned about what he would do, and I was going to take him to get a passport and use that. I finally found out that he could vote by mail using his expired one for a few years. lol
As long as there is absolutely no biological interventions involved and absolutely No tracking then I'd be ok with it, maybe. (smile) and I think at this point there is always somebody, some group who is oe will be "subject to suspicion" and I'm pretty sure I'll be one of them
For those of you who believe you are not already being tracked, let me list the ways. So unless you're a hermit living completely off grid (which means you wouldn't be here commenting), hate to break it to you! Now it's a matter of considering the cost-benefit ratio of having the Real ID b/c we're being tracked six ways from Sunday anyway.
Americans’ activities and conversations are tracked through various methods, often without their full awareness. Below is a concise overview based on current understanding:
• Online Tracking:
>>Cookies and Pixels: Websites use cookies and tracking pixels to monitor browsing habits, such as pages visited, time spent, and clicks. These build user profiles for targeted ads. About 62% of Americans believe it’s impossible to avoid corporate data collection daily.
>>Browser Fingerprinting: Unique device and browser configurations (e.g., settings, fonts) create a digital "fingerprint" to track users across sites, even without cookies.
>>Advertising IDs: Mobile apps use unique identifiers to track activities across devices, enabling personalized ads. For example, searching for a product on one site may trigger related ads elsewhere.
>>Social Media: Platforms like Facebook and X collect data on posts, likes, and interactions, often sharing it with advertisers. Privacy settings can limit this, but many users don’t adjust them.
• Device Surveillance:
>>Smartphones: Location data, calls, texts, and app usage are logged. Some claim federal agencies can access cameras or microphones remotely, though evidence is inconclusive.
>>Smart Assistants: Devices like Alexa or Siri may record conversations if triggered unintentionally. Users can disable voice data storage, but default settings often allow collection.
>>Public Wi-Fi/VPNs: Using public Wi-Fi or employer VPNs can expose browsing habits to third parties or employers. Cellular data is generally safer.
• Government Programs:
>>NSA Surveillance: Programs like PRISM and Section 702 of FISA collect phone calls, emails, and internet data, reportedly retaining billions of communications yearly.
>>USPS Monitoring: The Postal Service has been cited for tracking mail patterns, though specifics are vague.
>>DHS Social Media Vetting: Non-citizens’ online activity is monitored under programs like Visa Lifecycle Vetting, but citizens’ data may also be swept up.
• Employer Monitoring:
>>Workplace Tools: Software like Microsoft Office, Slack, or Zoom can track email content, meeting participation, or browsing on company networks. Mobile Device Management (MDM) software allows remote monitoring of work devices.
>>Bossware: Tools monitor background processes to track productivity or detect non-work activities, often without employee knowledge.
• Physical Surveillance:
>>CCTV and License Plate Readers: Cameras in stores, streets, and public spaces track movements. License plate readers log vehicle locations, shared across law enforcement databases.
>>Facial Recognition: Used at airports, schools, and by police, this tech identifies individuals in real time, raising privacy concerns.
>>Location Tracking: Cell tower pings and GPS data from phones create detailed movement maps, sometimes accessed by government or advertisers.
I live completely off-grid, with a well, no phone lines, and am not a hermit, although reading these posts I'm considering it.
Is your point that we should be settle for being tracked? That we have no choice? Did you give up your freedom so easily with injections? Nose swaps? 6' distancing? Closed parkss?
Do you roll over so easily because someone says "we're all being tracked"?
I fail to understand your ease at a tracking pen. Is it because it's common place, easy to get by, you are used to being spied on.
What is your threshold-- tattoos, camps, 15 minute cities, freedom cites?
My point is that unless we do live off-grid, we're being tracked no matter what. Living off-grid is something most of us would not choose to do nor would be able to do. If that suits you, more power to you. But does that give you the right to badger anyone who doesn't? Your verbal aggressiveness toward those who don’t share your specific beliefs or values seems to speak more to your need to assert control than to your genuine concern for surveillance…which just serves as your tool for doing so.
BTW, if you do have your own well, what’s the source of electricity to run your well pump?
GA and CA Lice have been duplicated. One person can get many lic and still vote many ways in different counties Data bases have been breached. Online is not safe and that is where the info is stored.
Please don't be afraid. Apparently the Real ID has been in development for a long-time. Biden was going to implement it federally last year but pushed it to May 7, 2025. Texas too will roll out State ID officially on May 7. I, and others, have had a Real ID and didn't even know it. Last time I renewed my TDL it came back with a gold star on it. Here is the info.
"Texas REAL ID" Link below
Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID-compliant driver license with a gold star, a valid passport, or U.S. military ID to travel by air in the U.S. Learn more about REAL ID req, uirements and how to get one.

Gloat. Paranoia.
These are harsh condemnations indeed.
However, in the spirit of free speech I thank you for writing your convictions.
Best to be forewarned of crafted plans dating back pre 911,
than to rush thinking the govt will save us with a digital ID.
Be careful.
Didn’t you hear him say that they already track every single move we make & every word we utter?

George,
REAL ID is set to use biometrics and retina scans, and if that doesn't creep you out, World Bank is gung-ho for tracking it's lifestock.

And then remember covid?

definitely against that

A slippery slope was averted with vaxx passport.
I'm not buying REAL ID is benign. Rolled out for voter ID -- why fo we need it if a passport will suffice?
Millions can’t afford to get passports and don’t intend to travel outside the US.

My trust level is low with any "entry level bridge" when govt is involved.
I know REAL ID has been a slow roll out since before 911, and will eventually take more of our civil liberties from us.
I don't want to be cajoled like a child into accepting more tracking; explained to me that it's to protect votes or ....
Come clean Clandestine --
